Alastair founded ABR with three colleagues in 1995 and has been a

After
a career in industry, Mike has spent the last 10 years helping companies
design, implement and use the Balanced Scorecard and other performance
measurement systems. He has worked with smaller companies such as
A I Qualitek and larger businesses such as Schering Health Care and
Oki Printers. He has authored over a hundred publications on the subject
of performance measurement and is editor of The Handbook of Performance
Measurement published by Gee and the Journal Measuring Business Excellence.

Robert’s
career started in sales and marketing. A graduate in Business Studies,
he has worked in both the large corporate companies and small private
organisations. He has extensive experience in General Management as
well as having held senior positions in both Sales and Marketing.

Byford |

David
worked for the corporate arm of a major high street bank for over
20 years, the last seven as an Area Corporate director. He has extensive
experience in leading and managing large teams of managers and sales
managers, spread over considerable geographical areas. He also has
wide ranging experience in the training and development of managers.
David currently runs his own Commercial Finance Broking company, providing
funding solutions for businesses of all sizes.
David joined ABR as an Associate in 2006. |

Nigel
Day

Nigel
has a background and extensive experience in commercial and general
management, with particular strengths in defence and engineering,
though he has worked in a range of industries of varying sizes, most
recently as Managing Director of a Smiths Group operating company.
He has dealt internationally with most countries and he has negotiated
some of the world's largest chemical detection contracts in USA, Switzerland
and the UK. He has experience in delivering international offset arrangements
and, as a Managing Director, introduced and implemented Strategy Deployment,
Lean Enterprise and a Leaders of Change programme (involving Action
Learning principles). Nigel has also chaired a Trade Association Contracts
Committee and was a member of the CBI team that constructed and agreed
the UK Ministry of Defence Partnering Guidelines.

Nigel
gained experience of financial management with Unilever, ITT/STC,
Morgan Crucible, LM Ericcsson, Hughes Network Systems and London Regional
Transport. Latterly he has been involved in interim management in
the electronics, marketing and not-for-profit sectors and in funding
and assistance to SMEs. He is a Chartered Management Accountant.
Nigel joined

Albert
Peters

Albert,
a Human Resources specialist, has been operating as an independent
since 1994, providing personnel and training services at both strategic,
advisory and operational levels to both large and small private sector
organisations. His activities range from strategic advice on linking
personnel policies and procedures to business objectives, by maximising
the value of people assets, to the provision of practical support
on matters such as meeting the needs of employment law, staff discipline,
motivation, pay and grading issues, recruitment support, updating
policies and procedures, tailored learning, staff development programmes,
dismissals and tribunal work. Previously Albert operated successfully
as a Senior Human Resources professional in a number of companies
in the Manufacturing, Retail and Transport sectors and latterly in
B2B service organisations.

Richardson |
 |
John
worked for a major High Street Bank for over 30 years mainly dealing
with owner managed Companies. During that time he encountered many
of the issues that face such businesses and enjoyed talking to the
owner manager about the ways the problems could be addressed. Since
leaving Banking he has worked with owner-managed companies, utilising
this broad experience and additionally working on a part time basis
over the last three years in a Company Secretarial role in one such
business. John
joined ABR as an Associate in 2002. |

| Tony Stringer |
 |
Tony has extensive experience as a senior manager and director in the public service, manufacturing, commodity trading and publishing sectors. This experience includes working in and with the diverse cultures of the EC, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Far East.
Having originally qualified as an accountant Tony has a particular interest in the wider range of organisational objectives and how the extent of their achievement is reflected corporate reporting and value.
Tony is currently facilitating management and leadership development programmes as part of a broader role of generating and supporting business growth for a range of organisations. Tony
joined ABR as an Associate in 2006. |
